The nice thing about the subscribe commenting system was that the project maintainers could see how many users were interested in the issue; granted, the "follow" button was a major improvement for the focus of the issue. Weed out sandboxes from the new modules feed

The current feed for "New modules" is http://drupal.org/taxonomy/term/14/0/feed (linked from What RSS feeds are available?). Since several long months, this feed includes all new sandbox modules, which defeats its purpose and is hard to follow because it is very busy. Can we have the feed of proper new modules back, and perhaps a separate feed with just sanboxes.

It's a real PITA to go type all that html everytime, right? Wouldn't it be awesome if you could just write the module name your editor would automatically find the correct module title, the right ...more »

Twitter like behaviour on Dashboard, Re-design entire Dashboard!

Twitter is one good Example for this idea because you can follow users, websites, news, etc... Following a module??? or theme??? It's like creating a list of modules that you like or are using, that list (Click-able URLs) will grow as you follow. If there is a new version, security updates, some type of improvements, problems, etc... those notifications can appear on Dashboard by topic "Following Projects (All) / Themes". ...more »
